What does SEAC do?
SEAC is a Neighborhood Preservation Company that facilitates community and economic development in southeast Rochester. We help the citizens who live and work in southeast Rochester to accomplish goals and initiatives for their neighborhoods and businesses. We support existing neighborhood and merchant associations, as well as help to organize citizens into groups to generate sought-after results.

Where are you located?
Our street address is 1000 Elmwood Avenue.  We are located on the Elmwood campus of the Al Sigl Center on the northeast corner of South and Elmwood Avenues.  You can enter the Elmwood Campus either from South Avenue or from Elmwood Avenue.  Our office is located in a tan cinderblock, one-stoy, stand-alone building.  To reach SEAC's office from South Avenue -- enter the campus at the "North entrance" and bear to the right.  From Elmwood Avenue-- enter the campus at the traffic light.  Once on the campus, make first right, continue on road until you reach our building.  It will be on the right. 

What are your hours?
The office is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm.

When is the Tool Library open?
The Tool Library is currently closed.

Do you have to live in the Southeast of Rochester to belong to the Tool Library?
No, anyone who is a member of SEAC can borrow tools from the Tool Library.

How does one become a member (or join) SEAC?
Anyone can join SEAC by filling out a membership form and paying the annual dues. Learn more...

Does SEAC offer housing grants or loans?
SEAC does have grants for home repairs of owner-occupied homes. Please see the housing grant section for more details. SEAC does not offer loans.
