University Avenue

Located in the Neighborhood of the Arts, this avenue is one of the most cultural and art–rich sections of the city. University Avenue is home to ArtWalk, Rochester’s outdoor museum with sculptures and other types of artwork located on a wide, tree-line street.

Turn-of-the-century Victorian homes on nearby residential streets provide a variety of single-family housing and apartments. In addition to being home to a diverse population, Neighborhood of the Arts is best defined by its “walkability” www.walkscore.com and the activism of those living and working there.
